Jackson’s Ridge is a Children’s Camp facility specialising in camps for church groups, community organisations, and children from disadvantaged communities. Jackson’s Ridge offers a unique bushveld camping experience designed to ignite spiritual leadership qualities and responsibility in children. We have a 160 bed dormitory, a large conference hall and delicious and nutritious food.

Jackson‘s Ridge Adventure Camps!
Jackson’s Ridge is the place to take your kids to camp. JR specializes in a variety of children’s camps, from church groups, school camps, community organizations and disadvantaged communities.
Children’s lives are changed and transformed through experiential learning processes and powerful evening services where the atmosphere creates a perfect opportunity for Jesus to change lives.
To ensure follow-up on these children, a strong requirement that JR holds is that all groups that attend should provide one adult leader for every 10-12 children. This leader connects with their children during the weekend. Once they have experienced Jesus together, a bond is formed between them and the leader becomes a significant adult in the life of those 10 children. A “go-to” person and a mentor who is encouraged to follow up on their group of children for prayer, guidance and support when they return home, thereby helping the children to stay true to their commitment to Jesus.
JR offers a wide range of fun and exciting activities to fill an action-packed weekend. Boating, pellet gun shooting, archery, swimming, in-door and out-door games, challenges, water slides and so much more. We send the children home tired but totally fulfilled after a life-changing experience!
JR also believes in the power of experiential learning, There are over 20 different elements on the low and high ropes challenge course. Under the guidance of a skilled facilitator, a team of 10-12 children are presented with a challenge. Together, through group interaction and cooperation they must devise a solution to the problem and successfully complete the challenge. This process of learning through experience teaches a child about himself, his peers and his relationship with God.
Our evening camp fires and powerful services create an atmosphere where God can change lives. All this combined with a comfortable bunkhouse and excellent meals make for an unforgettable camping experience.
Here is all you need…1 gender-specific adult leader for each group of 10-12 kids. Remember, the JR Adventure Camps are for boys and girls aged between 8-13. If your group is small, we will combine your kids with other groups to make a comfortable camp of about 100 children.
Church Camps
This is a weekend camp that caters for church and community groups, for children aged 9-13 years. Powerful ministry times complete an action packed weekend of activities, camp fire and night hike.
Holiday Camps!
Kids look forward to school holidays, but when they start the first thing they say is…”I’m bored!” Mom and Dad are left with a dilemma every school holiday as to how you can keep the kids happy and occupied.
Holiday camps will specifically focus on spending time with Jesus, daily, the importance of reading God’s Word, the power of Prayer, the essential discipline of putting time aside for God, the power of making good choices, choosing good friends, forgiveness, honouring yourself, family and God.
Holiday camps can be booked for a week or a weekend in the school holidays. Send your 8-14 year old kids to camp, they will have the time of their life!
Kids Blast (Kids Leadership Training Camp)
JR offers a Kids Leadership Training Camp for the Children in your Ministry. Bring your kids to be equipped and trained to serve the saints with a variety of fun ministry tools: Drama, Gospel Illusions, Balloon Sculpturing, Cartooning, Fun Gospel Outreach Ideas and many many more.
School Camps!
JR has a large range of school camps on offer. Our SKY program is a program adopted by a church to support and reach out th the unsaved in our schools. This program mainly deals with life skills through a 3-year program that assists children with making good choices for thier lives, sexuality, relationships and preparing for high school. We also offer school leadership camps, character development and holiday adventure camps.
